Hair Care

Hair Do's n Don'ts

The key thing about taking care of your hair is to treat it like your real hair. Creating a hair care routine will ensure your hair last for a very long time.

Do's N Don'ts

ALWAYS wash your hair once you receive it! This is to ensure any prior products used to clean the hair won't give you any allergic reactions.

Do's

• Wash hair before installation
• Deep condition weekly
• Use lukewarm or cold water
• Air dry whenever possible
• Gently detangle from ends upward

Don'ts

• Do not use products with sulfates or alcohol
• Avoid excessive heat
• Do not cut wefts improperly
• Avoid rough brushing on curly textures

Shampoo & Conditioners

Choosing the right shampoo & conditioner is vital.

Shampoo

Using the right shampoo is essential for maintaining the quality of your hair. We recommend using alcohol-free and sulfate-free products to help prevent dryness and damage. Shampoo the roots gently and cleanse your hair every 2 weeks or as needed.

Condition

Conditioning is key to keeping your hair soft, silky, and hydrated. Deep condition weekly and moisturize regularly in between washes for best results. Always use alcohol-free and sulfate-free conditioners to maintain the longevity and shine of your hair.

Styling/Care Products

Excessive heat can reduce the longevity and quality of your hair. We recommend using heat temperatures of 375°F or lower for non-processed hair and 350°F or lower for colored or processed hair.

For styling products, choose water-based formulas whenever possible and avoid products containing alcohol, sulfates, parabens, or phosphates, as these ingredients may cause dryness and damage over time.
